Role 

Operations Manager 

Job Description 

We are looking for an experienced Operation Manager to help oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. This will be a vital role that will be a key contributor for the efficiency of the business. 

The Operation Manager role is an important member of the management team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). You’ll assist with and drive diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you. 

The goal of the Operation Manager position is to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with the design and implementation of business operational procedures
  • Work with the management team to create policies that are aligned with company culture,
    vision and SOC 2 compliance requirements
  • Coordinate SOC2 compliance preparation, audits and ongoing maintenance with internal teams
    and external consultants
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to champion business policies and procedures
  • Assist with HR duties
  • Manage procurement of IT hardware and software licenses
  • Assist with the management of internal IT operations
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Assist with preparing and managing operational budgets
  • Work with product management, software development and quality assurance teams to ensure
    requirement, test case and release management SOC 2 controls are implemented, maintained
    and monitored
  • Assist the Dev Ops team to ensure SOC2 compliance controls are implemented, maintained and
    monitored
  • Collaborate with customer success and support teams to develop, maintain and improve
    processes to maximize customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Manage customer support coverage 
  • Work with and provide updates to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Assist with the monitoring daily company operations
  • Help keep the company and its assets secure by following security and compliance guidelines

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an operation manager or relevant role
  • Understanding of business functions such as IT, Dev Ops, HR, Accounting, Support and Customer
    Success
  • Demonstrable competency in process analysis and developing policies and procedures
  • Experience with SOC2 compliance certification process
  • Experience working at a software development company
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and Jira/Confluence
  • Clear understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecyle
  • Outstanding organizational and operational abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Experience working in SaaS and/or cybersecurity a plus
